Claude usage FAQ

How do I check my Claude usage?

On Pro and Max plans, open Settings → Usage on claude.ai to see your 5-hour session limit and weekly limit (Team plans have no weekly limit). Since August 2026 Claude no longer reports usage for Free accounts. Wherever Claude reports your usage, the free Claude Tuner Chrome extension shows it in your toolbar and side panel, forecasts when you will hit a limit, and keeps usage graphs over time across the Claude app, Claude Code and Cowork.

When does my Claude usage limit reset?

The 5-hour session limit and, on Pro and Max, the weekly limit each reset at their own time, shown on the claude.ai usage page. Claude Tuner displays those reset times and predicts whether you will run out before they reset. On the Free plan, Claude shows the reset time only once you hit the limit.

Where do these Claude usage statistics come from?

They are anonymized aggregates from people who use the Claude Tuner extension: plan, usage levels, estimated tokens, account type (personal vs work email domain) and the training-data sharing setting. Conversation content is not part of these statistics. The page is refreshed daily.
